What does your name means?
Bandung (Longboarders) is name of a city in West Java, Indonesia. We chose the same name as the city as a reminder of where we came from.

How long have you been skating together? How did everything start?
Since 2010. At the beginning of this crew formed spearheaded by some skaters who want to try new things that is longboard. Then every weekend they gather and practice longboard together. The crew members increased from time to time, we then held some longboard event in Bandung, such as “Budda Slide Jam”, “Weekend at Budda” and “King of Budda”. Budda itself is the name of our favorite spot to skate and chill. And like others longboard community in all over the world, we love traveling to find new places or you called it a skate trip. You will find many spots that surrounded by tea field and beautiful view with cold weather here in Bandung.

Any wanted event attendance for the future?
Maybe we will attend Lombok Skate Trip 2018 in March. And if another longboard community in Indonesia organize an event of course we will love to come.

Do you normally do skate trips (non events related)? Which one is the best for you?
YES, we’re a bunch of people who curious to find new spots for skate. That’s why we always make a plans for skate trip every year. The last time we had skate trip was to Cisompet, Garut. It was an amazing experience for all of us! LINK

Any really wanted trips for the future?
We really want to explore Indonesia because many friends from other islands give the information about the best spots for longboard. We haven’t get a chance to do that, but hopefully we will in the future.

What’s your favourite spot to skate and chill?
BUDDA (BUDI INDAH), is a luxury residential area located in center of Bandung. There are 2 different spots that we can chose here, we used to called it Budda Outlaw and Budda Mini Race. It’s a perfect spots for beginner to practices their skill. And if the weather is good, you could see Bandung city view from the top and beautiful sunset.

CIKOLE – LEMBANG, takes about an hour from Bandung by car. It’s a perfect spots for practice downhill or free ride. The spot itself not too far from the famous Tangkuban Perahu mountain. You could see the pine forest and strawberry fields along the way.PHOTO

TALEGONG – GARUT, takes about 3 hours from Bandung by car. This spot have a beautiful memories for all of Indonesian longboard riders. Talegong is where the first international longboard competition takes place. You could see the tea field along the way.PHOTO LINK

CISOMPET – GARUT, takes about 4 hours from Bandung by car. But you won’t regrat it! You could have a best downhill open road experience. If that not enough, then you could go to another spot that more challenging. You could see the rubber plantation along the way. And you could finish the trip by relaxing on Santolo beach.
