Let’s say one of the most hardcore race tracks that has ever been organised a longboarding event. It’s set to knock your socks off. We’re not talking about rough tarmac or tight roads, in fact, the road in Pasul Valcan has 2 wide lanes and a very low traffic flux because the road meets a dead end on top of the hill and the resort is not active during the winter neither summer. It preserved very well a fresh dark asphalt colour as it’s just been paved 3 years ago. It could even be eligible for Formula 1 race. If it weren’t so steep !
Pasul Vucan is a mountain pass in Hunedoara County of Romania on the Jiu Valley. The closest city is Vulcan and has been named after the pass. Descending from 1621m altitude the location offers breathtaking views over the valley and the track consists of 3km of very smooth asphalt, uplifts will be made by gondola allowing a no stop riding down the steepest road actually in the IDF circuit.
