Year of creation of the Crew

In 2016 3rd of September was our birth basically rebirth as Lb Bros Cy. Lb Bros Cy is the second generation and only crew of downhill Freeride longboarders in Cyprus at the moment

What does your name means?

At first , approximately 9 years before Lb Bros Cy was created Boomer Longboards crew introduced the sport of Downhil/Freeride longboarding in Cyprus and our presence is directly linked with their history and achievements. So as Lb Bros Cy we only ride for one year now but as for riding together at least 7 years.

Have you been with the whole crew to any big Event? Which one is the best for you?

No we didn't have the chance to attend any big events yet but we are planning to make an attempt probably in 2018. We like all events but we are thinking one of the Big Mountain Skate type of events.

Do you normally do skate trips (non events related)? Which one is the best for you?

We never left the Island of Cyprus for a Skate Trip but we are in a constant Skate trip in Cyprus and we are still discovering new roads hidden in the mountains.

Any really wanted trips for the future?

So when we are done with our island we would like to head up to the Alps and skate up there it seems magical

Anything else that you wanna share with our readers?

Our crew is here to help and guide fellow longboarders and also skate with them if possible. Important to mention Cyprus was a British colony so we drive on the left side of the road... We dont encourage open road bombing in single lane roads and absence of protective helmet. Attemp to do closed road sessions and be polite to the locals that might drive by cypriots are understanding people.

We belive it is a great opportunity for a sport like longboard to be known and grow . We support your attempt and we must wish the best to the future of our sport.

Whats your favourite spot to skate and chill ?

Akrounta is a magical downhill spot we like to ride and chill . It is our home run up to 7 km distance 8-10% angle gnarly as you cannot imagine. Thats where our event 1st and 2nd event is taking place aswell. Check "Drift N Slide" on Facebook
